Record itemizes fees collected by the Secretary of State and deposited in banks throughout the state. Entries include deposit amount and date; bank receiving deposit; and occasionally fee type (e.g., automobile; chaufffeur licenses). Account books also include refund records and are balanced monthly. Banks handling funds include Springfield Marine Bank; First National Bank of Springfield; Illinois National Bank of Springfield; Sangamon Loan and Trust Company of Springfield; Central Trust Company of Chicago; Hamilton County Bank; First National Bank of Flora; and First National Bank of Greenfield.
